With the NauticEd TrackLink App, you can view and store all your sailing ventures on an accurate GPS track overlaid on a map. Each outing records and saves to your logbook the exact overlaid track, weather conditions, max speed, distance traveled, time elapsed, and specific notes. Your tracks are automatically tied to your vessel that you set up in your NauticEd profile. You can txt friends your live sailing track so they can follow you – which also acts as an accurate float plan. You can easily create an anchor drift alarm by drawing a circle around your boat on your screen with your finger (requires internet service for the anchor drift alarm map). You can grow your sailing resume and every venture outing is authenticated to your resume. Online, you can add crewmates and then they will also have the track added to their resume. In trouble? You can txt your emergency condition and your exact position and ongoing track to friends to alert emergency response authorities.
